THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE GHOUTA MASSACRE

We Exist and its members came together with Act for Ghouta across the globe to stand united with Syrians to pay tribute to the more than 1,144 innocent victims of the Ghouta chemical weapons massacre in August 2013. The passage of ten years since these unspeakable acts of cruelty is a haunting testament to the lack of justice served.

During this poignant commemoration, we had the privilege of hearing directly from survivors of the Ghouta chemical weapons massacre. Musicians lent their voices to somber melodies, and Syrian artists poured their creativity into new artworks, all dedicated to honouring the memory of the victims.
